The ’Qualité Tourisme’ award: a plus mark for our Tourist Office

Since 2011 the Clermontais Tourist Office has been committed to improving the quality of its services with the aim of acquiring a « Qualité Tourisme » award and then the « Sud de France » label. A tourist office with a quality approach is the guarantee of an engagement to satisfy the demands of its clients and commercial partners. It also means being attentive to their needs, so as to be able to adapt to growing expectations. But before this a commitment is needed, to respect a referential model of 120 criteria, in reworking the objectives defined by the Tourist Office, to be rigorous on a daily basis concerning reception, office management, dealings with partners, implementing development, etc.

In evaluating satisfaction ratings through questionnaires and comments, the results are then followed up by a local work group made up of elected representatives and professional interlocutors who meet twice a year to improve services. The Qualité Tourisme label is also available to hotels, restaurants, tourist establishments, etc. and some of the local professions in tourism.

On the 19th February 2014, the Clermontais Tourist Office was awarded a Tourist Office of France Qualité Tourisme label for a period of 3 years. This is a mark of recognition for our Tourist Office, its team and its local representatives.
